Join other colleagues at a CAVAL Customer Services & Collaboration Network Community of Practice event all about Orientation.
How does it work?
The Customer Services and Collaboration Network provides staff of CAVAL member libraries with a forum for discussing, sharing and benchmarking best practice in relation to resource sharing and front-facing library services.
One representative from each attending institution will be asked to speak for five minutes (time limit strictly enforced) about what you doing succesfully, avoiding, trying out, or considering, when it comes to Orientation. Please ensure that you have discussed this prior to the event with any colleagues who are also attending. We encourage representatives to not rely on PowerPoint presentations - preferring a more open-ended discussion and problem solving approach.
There will be an opportunity to ask questions, provide suggestions and make connections during the session and over complementary lunch provided by CAVAL.
This event is free of charge, exclusive to library staff from CAVAL Member Institutions, and places are strictly limited..
Program
Aim to arrive at 10am for a 10.30am start. Lunch will be served at 12.30pm.
Federation University SMB Campus is a ten minute walk from Ballarat Train Station, in the centre of Ballarat.
